Web Prophets :: Enews Update

2007 is proving to be an exciting year for Web Prophets. It has been several months since we last sent the word out on what we have been up to, partly because we have been so busy but also because we wanted to wait until we could release all of our exciting news. August saw the launch of collectZing, an exciting new social networking site developed by our friends David Eedle and Fiona Boyd (Artshub founders). Congratulations to all of the collectZing team on a great website, for more information see our New Work highlighted below. September is Award and Graduation month; with Web Prophets winning an AbaF Award (see below) and the first set of trainees graduating from Fifteen (Jamie Olivers foundation for "inspiring young people"). Last week Web Prophets won the AbaF Victorian National Australia Bank SME Award for our work with Gasworks Arts Parks.

AbaF is the Australian Business Arts Foundation. The foundation is a company established by the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts to promote private sector support for the arts.

The Web Prophets & Gasworks partnership is celebrating it's 2nd birthday this year. During this time Web Prophets has redeveloped the Gasworks website and provided Enews Manager, allowing Gasworks to produce more targeted online communications. Gasworks has assisted us in improving our software through constructive feedback sessions, creating a better solution for all of our customers.

Web Prophets and Gasworks will now represent Victoria in the National Awards which will be announced in Sydney on the 25 October.

COLLECT ZING
For the past few months Web Prophets has been working with collectZing, an exciting new social networking website for Collectors. We have been involved in branding and creative design for this exciting new venture.

MARTA MIKEY
Marta Mikey US have just launched their online product catalog for approved Trade Customers only. Using Web Prophets My Store software, the catalog currently features Marta Mikey's great range and allows users to bookmark favourites.

ST KILDA VILLAGE ENEWS
August saw the first issue of the St Kilda Village Enewsletter sent out using Web Prophets Enews Manager. The newsletter provides lots of interesting information including upcoming events and a local Gig Guide.

POETS GROVE
Just launched, Poets Grove is a website for a local child care centre in Elwood. Site design is by our friend Justin from JB Design and development is by Web Prophets including integration of a content management system.
